It is so sad when a person’s life is taken because someone else is selfish and doesn’t think of others.   When someone drinks and drives, they are selfish, plain and simple.   They think it’s not that far or I’m fine or they just don’t think at all.  It’s a ripple effect of the lives that can be hurt by one person’s selfishness.  Angels starting pitcher Nick Adenhart, along with 2 others, were killed by a drunk driver early this morning after he pitched an excellent game last night. The driver was driving with a suspended license for a prior DUI.  Do these people not learn??  There are some things in life that I will never understand, and this is one of them.  If you can’t afford to get a taxi at the end of the night, how did you pay for all the alcohol you consumed?  Call a friend or have a few less drinks and get a cab.  These are people’s lives we’re talking about.  Nick Adenhart (1986-2009) you will be missed!
